Capt. Court’s Bohemian 17’
Capt. Courts ride of choice is a Bonefish Boatworks Bohemian 17’. This boat is ideal for moving quickly from spot to spot in search of fish. With or without the casting platform, Court’s boat is ideal for focusing on getting the angler on the bow on fish. Capt. Court is able to use the poling platform to silently ease you into position while getting an elevated view to spot tails and rolls. His boat is ideal for two anglers at a time.
Capt. Branden’s Micro Draft 20’
Capt. Branden’s boat is big enough to allow multiple anglers to fish and ride in comfort. Branden’s boat can draft in only a few inches of water to fish the skinniest flats and get back deep in the mangroves. Branden is able to use the trolling motor or push poll to get you close to fish and then use the power poll to anchor you so you can get your shot. Capt. Branden’s boat also excels at night where its size gives you a lot of stability and enough space for two anglers to fish.
Accommodations
We have a whole house in beautiful Dunedin, Florida available for our clients to stay during the trip. The house can sleep up to eight with multiple bedrooms, parking, nice furnishings, a smoker, and a large back yard. The house is within walking distance or a short Uber or Lyft ride to bars, restaurants, shops, the beach and numerous other attractions.
Gear
Fly Gear
Both Captains have a variety of fly rods and reels starting with a 5 weight fiberglass rod that is a blast to catch snook, trout, and reds on up to 12 weights set up for 150 pound tarpon. Both Captains primarily use Seigler reels and Loop rods supplemented with other high end gear and hand-tied flies.
Light Tackle Gear
We also have high-end light tackle gear available if you prefer or want to have a back-up plan if the wind kicks up fly fishing. We primarily use TFO spinning rods and Florida Fishing Products reels for light tackle applications.
